Custom Hightower w AXS, size Large

$4750 USD
This Hightower has a lot of customization: you'll first notice some cosmetic graphic logos which can be removed if desired. These are overlaid on a full InvisiFrame wrap professionally applied. The front suspension was lengthened to 160mm (from 150) and the rear Rockshox suspension was upgraded with the MegNeg air can at 145mm. Featured are custom carbon wheels with 321 hubs hand built by https://builtbyjerry.com/ This bike is pictured with Sram AXS wireless shifting matted to an elliptical chainring and XT Cassette/Chain (amazing shifts). I have the original and in good shape XT shifter and can reduce the price of the bike accordingly if you prefer that. The XT brake levers were also upgraded to Flo oilslick levers which have a great breakaway feature. The carbon bars were also upgraded for more rise with PNW XL grips. The bike and wheels have wear and tear dings. All are superficial scratches and most are pictured. The front fork stanchion has a couple small scratches but they are smooth. Here are the original specs: https://99spokes.com/bikes/santacruz/2021/hightower-xt-carbon-c-29

Cane Creek's New DB AIR [IL] Shock + OPT and DROPT Remotes - Press Release
@CaneCreekCyclingComponents: @CaneCreekCyclingComponents: The reality is, a lot of customers had bad experiences with something they love to do during their free time (not to mention the amount of money they drop). Not doing a recall was negligent at best, especially with the repeated admission of fault. I take issue with the way your operations are run and think it may be the inherent cause of quality control. I paid for my DB inline to be rebuilt (in Oct), then it blew out after 4hrs of riding. When I contacted customer service I was told, 'oh yeah, yours was one of the last rebuilds before we upgraded the internal components - sorry about that we'll rebuild it again.' Then the rebuild took 2 weeks so I missed out on riding during the entire holiday break because (and I quote): "We only have 1 tech working on the rebuilds right now." What? 1 tech? Maybe pull the guy off of the useless tuning app to help out? My point is, you guys have the ability to make some great stuff, but you need to get the house in order and do what's right by your customers. Oh, and no one told me about the upgrade options 13 days ago...

Northwave Extreme XC: MTB shoes size 44 (US 11)

$150 USD
I bought these about a month ago and they are too stiff for me. I know, I know, stiffer = better but I'm not racing MTB and I'm going to go with something with a softer sole. The carbon soles on these are insanely stiff, and great power transfer... oh, and the camo is dope as hell! These have some dirt from normal use but everything works perfect. I paid north of $300 for these here: https://www.onetri.com/northwave-extreme-xc-cycling-shoe-2016-mens.html I'll sell for $150 or B.O. shipping is included.

It's not the device - it's the mentality of chasing segments, leroy. I will dispute your "fact" as I have both a garmin and an iphone 5 and run them simultaneously (why not). The elevations are definitely different (never by 30%+ as you've seen), but the distance and speed are identical. What functionality does a garmin offer that you can't get on a smartphone?

Yeah, I sometimes agree with the "soulless" comment - it's a slippery slope with Strava. I do enjoy it though. As for GPS and adove's comments: I have a garmin and an smartphone with gps. I regularly use my iphone for long rides (4+ hrs) and have not run down my battery yet, as long as I start with it charged. Accuracy has not been an issue (for me) on roads or in the trees. Finally, if your smartphone has bluetooth you can use a HR monitor (wahoo). All are pretty good options, I'm just saying that you can accomplish the same with a smart phone.

I can't believe this is the only comment about Strava. If you have a smart phone with GPS, why would you shell out $300 for a cycling computer? Strava gives you all the same data and much, much more for free. It also can introduce you to MTB trails you never knew where around you, plus you get to see how you stack up against others ... even local pros. So, whilee I love that dude's comment about "are you tired?" there's now a way to benchmark if your 'tired' is comparatively weak.
