Apr 5, 20262005 Trek Session 10
$900 CAD2005 Trek Session 10. Size large. High pivot design.
A rare gem from the freeride era! Probably one of the best designed frames of this time period. Definitely ahead of it’s time! Still performs impressively well on modern DH/park tracks. Needs some work, but in great condition for it’s age, overall. Ridden a couple days per season on average, but time to let it go. Parts as follows:
Revox rear shock (original shock - works great)
888 bomber RC2 (one very small nick on right stancion, otherwise great condition)
Integrated 888 marzocchi stem
Shimano zee crankset (upgraded - relatively new)
Nukeproof flat pedals (upgraded - relatively new)
105 short cage rear derailleur (replaced last season)
Maxxis minion DHF tires F/R - 26” (probably 70% tread life or more - replaced not too long ago)
Avid code brakes w 203mm rotors (one elixr lever - could use a good bleed, but functional - pads almost new)
9 speed shimano drivetrain
Saddle needs replacing (a few rips)
Rims (mavic 721) are still rideable but well used.
Shimano Saint 150mm rear hub
$900 firm.

Ridden VERY little since it was purchased - mostly just taken out for rides with the kids
Mavic ex823 UST tubeless rims (equivalent of deemax rims)
Avid elixr hydraulic brakes (good working order - lots of pad life)
Shimano deore hollowtech crankset (outboard, x-type bearings, upgraded)
Currently 3x8 drivetrain (could easily be converted to a 1x setup with narrow/wide chainring)

Grow Cycling Foundation Shares Top Job Postings for the New Year
Pinkbike is by FAR the most hacked online account I have ever had.
I recently had 2 password reset prompts in 2 days due to suspicious account activity (despite inventing passwords so ridiculous even I have trouble remembering them). Debated deleting my account multiple times as a result, since the buy/sell was the only reason I keep it...and that seems like a bit of a lost cause these days, sadly.
Nobody wants your "lightly used" 3 year old bike for 90% of what you paid for it.

Video: Will Ceramic Coating Save Your Bike From Being Ruined?
I almost never wash my bikes, aside from carefully spraying off the drivetrain after particularly muddy rides, and all my rigs consistently go 5+ seasons without bearing replacements being needed. Seals do a great job of keeping out dirt and grit...but jets of water (and/or cleaning products), not so much.

Garbaruk & Intend Warn of Rise in Dangerous Counterfeit Products
Yet another reason why used stuff posted in buy/sell isn't worth as much as people think it is. Guaranteed there are people out there buying gear of Alibaba/Amazon and passing it off as legitimate at "full" price.
I used to buy used bikes and gear on the assumption that I wouldn't even LOOK at it unless I was getting at LEAST 50% off MSRP (and 50% would be a great bike that was lightly used). I regularly bought used bikes at 80% off or more. Nowadays it's common to see sellers wanting prices for their used bikes that are higher than the same brand new bike at 20% off in store.
Your used bike with zero warranty isn't worth 80% of what you bought it for. Period.
