The folks at Beech Mountain Resort have been hard at work the past few months cutting two new courses for the US National DH event that will be held Sept. 22-25th. A DH qualification event was held Aug. 27 and gave riders a chance to get a feel for the amateur course that will be used at US Nationals. With 140 riders turning out, the race went off with out a hitch. After walking the pro course it looks like they have put together two top notch trails that combine the perfect amount of natural terrain, with some machine made sections.
