Specialized Demo 8

$1200 USD
This is a great DH bike and it has a ton of life left in it. I'm selling it as my enduro bike foots the bill and honestly I'm tired of hauling it around and maintaining two bikes. It is upgraded w/a Fox 40 fork and shimano Zee brakes. It's a solid bike and is well maintained. Some minor cosmetic blemishes, no major dents or dings. I'm also throwing in a set of Schwable Magic Mary tires in. No trades serious offers only. It's a great bike for North Star and Mammoth. More pics upon request.

Shit Happens - Opinion
I was JRA at my local trails 2 weeks ago going along at a nice rate of speed when I got caught in a rain rut that I tired to bunny hop out of. Next thing you know I'm over the bars and land on my face, really hard! Anyhew I had to have minor reconstructive surgery under my left eye as well as a sprained right hand and two sprained shoulders. Fucking shit man! I hate being injured and not riding. Oh well one more injury to add to my long list.

Development Story - Norco's New DH Bike
Im not a fabricator, bike builder or development guy by any means, however I would assume since you are molding a frame vs welding it would be inherently cheaper to manufacture carbon frames over aluminum strictly by reducing the skilled labor cost of the welder vs molds. I understand the upfront cost of purchasing the molds but after you refine the process it would cost that much to pay an individual to lay down the material in the mold, push a button to inject it then move on. Seriously the cost of bike is ridiculous ! Can someone enlighten me?

Ratboy and Loosedog’s Beaconventure - Video
I wonder if in Europe you can ride a bike anywhere you see fit. Meaning: here in the states if your riding along and see a cool piece of terrain you want to ride and do it it's most likely illegal because it's private property and the owner will try to shoot you.
