Do Wheels Need to Cost So Much? – Interview – Sea Otter 2017
in all honesty, i mainly blame the consumer itself! it is commonly accepted in the car industry that there are highly overpriced brands and cars with a great value. plus people do not mind to buy used cars. why isn't that the case with bikes and parts? there are quiet a bunch of brands producing valuable products. we don't NEED to buy the highest exclusive things if we can't afford it and mainly if we don't need it. if porsche brings out a new model we all drool even by knowing the hefty price tag but would never consider buying one because it's simply not made for 98% of car drivers. if there is bike brand xxx popping out there latest model on the highest level of prices, consumers moan about how shitty expensive biking got and that's it. buy what you need and what you can afford. bontrager and hope wheels just poppin up in my mind thinking about wheels. ps: i ride a bontrager line comp alloy wheelset myself and couldn't be happier :)

Bergamont EnCore 9.0 - Review
as always when paul reviews something. Way to go! And the thing with installing tubeless: It's 2016, this is an enduro bike. This bike mus be set up tubeless! There are loads of wide and durable rims available, so i don't get why bikes still get built up with this conservative narrow ass rims.

Trek Slash 29 - First Ride: Crankworx Whistler 2016
@steviestokes: my exact thoughts! in the position on this picture, the seatstay gets lengthened, means higher bb. and vice versa (gap between rocker and seatstay is bigger) found a picture of another slash where it's correct: http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/13725168/

Isn't the "low / high" writing on the mino link wrong? Should be the other way around, shouldn't it?
