The frame they were testing last year was an alloy mule with no markings to indicate that it was a demo.
This is a full 'fact' carbon frame with Demo markings, which means that it's likely ready for (or already in) production.
They may still be experimenting with the carbon layup, but expect this to be the final form of the new bike.
