It's only when you are braking (as in the lever is in it's travel) that they can feel like they have less grip compared to stock levers (still not less grip than stock levers out of travel for me) as with stock levers your finger hooks around the lever more when braking whereas these stay flat. My problem was that the stock levers felt uncomfortable when "not braking". I apologize for making it a bit confusing. Hope this is more clear.

It seems this way and it's very different to normal levers but you still maintain more than enough power in your finger and this is an easy sacrifice as most of the time you're not braking when out riding.

Just personal preference to be honest. Personally I can't get used to braking with that part of my finger.

Yeah definitely, and if we do start selling them we'll be allowing customers to choose a custom angle. With SLM printing anything is possible so bespoke designs aren't out of the question either.
