Shooting a Planet Earth Episode....About Mountain Biking

With every video we produce, we always look for creative ways to explore the world of mountain biking, and the MTB Earth series is a fun opportunity to play around with tropes of the sport. We decided to have three characters in our latest episode, but rather than cast different talent, Mark Matthews would play all three trail builders. Using some of the techniques we developed in "Blueprint" we composited multiple Marks into the same shot so he could be riding with himself. It was a technical challenge to pull off but we are really stoked about the results. Enjoy the behind-the-scenes, and check out the full film if you haven’t seen it yet!
