Nepali Trails with Sandman Titanium - First Details

Jan 17, 2012 at 22:58
by Scott Secco

Riding, adventure and surprise in Nepal with Sandman Bikes. This is the result of the first half of our biking adventure in Nepal. Special thanks to Mads from Himalayan Trails and my girlfriend Isabel Santolaria. During the expedition I had some problems and there they were helping me with all the changes I had to come across. Apart from the sponsors, thanks a lot to: Dawa Sherpa for some of the amazing shots in Sinsare Danda Ridge and Dorchi Sherpa for making my bike get to me on time. And, of course, to the porter that helped me carrying the equipment I needed at night to get a good sleep.

Finally a hardtail on Pinkbike! I mean in open space, not bunny hops. That is great as I thought I am the only one with hardtail Wink Awesome experience, I do envy you! Keep on rolling!

I almost did this myself, I was so gutted when I arrived in Kat without my bike. But the hiking was good enough. How many stair cases did you encounter? Don't think I would have liked to ridden them, they went on forever and knackered my knees....

I enjoy this sport in all of its popular forms: Dh, Xc, Dirt Jumping, Big Mountain. etc. But a video like this is what gets my lazy a$$ off the couch and on the saddle. This is what mountain biking is all about to me.
