**Jones H-Bar Loop - Carbon**

$200 USD
Up for grabs are my nearly new condition Jones Carbon H-Bars. Never cut down (710mm), never been in a crash, and they were only on the bike for about a year 2016-2017. Been hanging onto them for a future project, but I hate seeing them go unused. Scuffs from bikepacking bag straps (yes I said “bikepacking” on Pinkbike...), and from when I flipped the bike upside down for post ride cleaning. Will consider trade for 11 spd cassette (XD), or SRAM Rival/Red components. Buyer pays shipping. Will meet up if you’re within an hour or so of Washington DC

Throwback Thursday: Champery 2007 - The Greatest Race Run Ever?
@justanotherusername: you’re right. I was just kidding. My point is that fast riders are just that...they’re ridiculously fast, regardless of what they’re riding. Sam Hill on a Mountain Cycle San Andreas would destroy 95% of the world’s riders, even if we were on modern bikes. Chris Kovarik qualifying for a Pro GRT last year on a 20-year-old M1is an example of this. I just get a bit tired of hearing about volume spacers and flip chips, when, for the vast majority of us, it really doesn’t matter. Just ride.

Throwback Thursday: Champery 2007 - The Greatest Race Run Ever?
...all without a boost spaced, cush cored, grip 2 dampened, carbon rear triangled, mullet bike that the industry says we have to buy to go fast. I heard 26” wheels were what made the difference for Hill that day...

Giant Trance X3 w/ Mods - Price Reduced!

$800 USD
Had the bike since new in 2010, and have maintained it very well. It's operated flawlessly over the years. The Maestro suspension truly is a spectacular design, and the bike feels like it has a bottomless rear end. In 2015 I invested around $800.00 into the bike for an update, so now it has 750mm bars, a 65mm (or 120mm in pics, your choice) stem, Thomson dropper post, newer grips, new tires (2.35 front, 2.1 back), tubeless setup, 1x9 drivetrain with a Race Face narrow-wide chainring, Shimano chain, XTR shifter and XT rear derraileur. Everything runs smoothly, and it's still my daily rider. Pivots are tight, and the bike's ready to go. Could use another fork/shock service soon, but all is well. Due to work, I really haven't logged a ton of miles on the bike...maybe 400 in total. All scratches are in the pics. Rubs on the top and head tubes are from my bikepacking packs.

The Mongolia Bike Challenge: A Documentary Film by Aaron LaRocque
iamamodel, you stated my point exactly, albeit more directly. Admittedly, XC is not my forte, BUT, I just did an XC race two weeks ago. I got my butt kicked, so, yes, I definitely DO appreciate the discipline, as well as any other discipline of cycling. But as iamamodel and esstinkay pointed out, the course never really varied at all. (There's a reason the Mongols were renowned horsemen.). Now, the Tour Divide race, in contrast, IS interesting.

The Mongolia Bike Challenge: A Documentary Film by Aaron LaRocque
Not gonna lie, guys...this looks horrible. If they made a "South Dakota Bike Challenge", or maybe a "Saskatchewan Bike Challenge", would anyone think it's cool? Probably not. They'd say, "Why in the world would I want to ride across windswept plains for days on end?!?!" Cool concept though...but likely looked better on paper
