Jun 22, 2025Giant TCR Advanced SL
$3200 CADGiant TCR Advanced SL - Medium.
Enve wheels
Enve handlebars
Ultegra groupset
Assioma power meter pedals
It's the SL version, essentially the race frame that the pros get. It has an integrated seat-post (Google it if you don't know what that is) which means seat height adjustment is limited. On the plus side it looks cool, is lighter, and is more compliant (reduced vibration to your butt). It's cut to length for me, I'm 5'8", 31" inseam, top of pedal to top of seat = 880mm.
I have a selection of seat-clamp spacers so there is some adjustment available but it's not like a normal seat-post that you slide up and down.
Lightly used, never raced, never crashed.
Complete bike only. If you want parts of the bike and not others you'll have to buy it and sell the bits you do't want. Stating this up front to prevent you wasting your time and mine.

Various upgraded components:
RaceFace Next carbon cranks
RaceFace SIXc carbon bars
SRAM Guide brakes
SRAM X1 rear deraileur
RockShox Pike dual air fork.
Cane Creek DB air shock.
Drivechain (cassette, chain, jockey-wheels, and chainring) replaced fairly recently - so lots of life in it.
Bike hasn't been used much in the past couple of years - I got a new bike and kept this one as a spare for friends to borrow, but that's a luxury I can't afford right now.
Bike is currently on Hornby Island but can be in Vancouver with some notice as I'm back and forth.

May 26, 2014Norco Aurum
$2500 CADNear perfect condition 2012 Norco Aurum.
This bike has not had a hard life. It was only ridden twice in 2013!
Fox 40 - has a light spring in but comes with the original Ti spring too. Regularly serviced and feels amazing.
Syncros rims with DT Swiss comp spokes, Sun hubs.
Fox RC4 shock with titanium 450lbs spring.
Durace cassette (titanium top three sprockets).
XO derailleur.
Elixir CR brakes.
It has new Nevegals fitted but comes with a set of barely used Excavators too.
It looks great, it's light and it handles perfectly IMHO!

Dec 11, 2012Norco 125 - S/M
$695 CAD2011 Norco 125. They did two sizes: S/M and M/L. This is a S/M.
The bike has only been ridden two or three times. Never crashed, not even a little bit. I've owned it from new. The time has come for me to accept that this bike will never get used - it's just sitting there collecting dust.
Very cool looking original black/grey paint.
It's stock except for I switched out the stock (crappy) plastic pedals for some DMR V12 Mags.
The front brake has never been fitted but I have it and it is included with the bike.
From the Norco web site:
Norco 100% chromoly frame with double butted top tube and downtube
New compact dropouts , integrated headtube , tapered mid BB
Marzocchi DJ 3 with 100 mm travel and 20 mm axle

Oct 17, 2012Mavic 721 - Hope Pro II - good-ish condition
$150 CADOne pair of Mavic 721 on Hope Pro II wheels.
Gunsmoke colour hubs.
DT Swiss Competition spokes (butted).
Stans strips fitted so you can run them tubeless.
10mm QR thru-axle135mm rear.
These wheels are about 5 years old and have been used on my AM bikes (not DH bikes). They were professionally hand-built in North Vancouver and cost me about $800. The stans strips cost me $50.
I bought a new bike at the start of the year with 142mm rear end so these haven't been used since.
There are a few rim dents as you'd expect but nothing significant enough to compromises the integrity of the wheels. Plenty of years left in these wheels. I was using them tubeless with no problems.
The freehub body will want replacing at some point as it is aluminium and a little worn. It works totally fine as it is but some cassettes may have a little bit of play in. If you use something with an aluminium spider it will be fine (XT or SRAM PG990). The pawls are fine (or they were last time I looked); they were replaced maybe a year ago.
They look nice on the bike and are a decent weight for burly wheels.
A steal at $150.
Local pickups only please.

Jun 11, 2012Reign X1 Frame - Medium
$500 CAD2009 Reign X1 frame - Medium.
DHX 4 air shock.
Spare DHX 3 coil (the original shock for the bike).
Good condition - a little bit of cable rub here and there, a few minor scratches. No dings, dents or cracks.
The only damage is the plastic shock cover has a small split at the bottom (see photo). It's just a plastic guard to stop crap hitting the shock. Pretty sure these get cracked all the time as they are quite exposed. It's a replaceable part but I've never bothered to replace it as you can only see it when the bike is upside down.
Seat clamp.
Headset.
I also have a 2007 Fox 36 Talas RC2 that I had on the bike. I'll chuck that in for an extra $150 to save me having to sell it separately (I'll sell the fork separately if it doesn't sell with the frame within a couple of weeks). The fork is in perfect working order. Serviced regularly. Some cable rub on the crown and scratches on the lowers but the stanchions are perfect.
So that's only $650 for this frame and fork!
I also have some wheels (Hope Pro II - Mavic 721), seat post (KS non-remote), Saint brakes, XT cranks - I haven't got around to posting ads yet but if you are building this bike up and need some other parts I can sell you some of it. Basically I'm parting the bike out - I have most of the parts you can see in the complete bike pic.
