This racing bike is light, fast, nimble, and beautiful - it turns heads. Masi is owned by Haro and designed this frame to be raced by the Kenda team. It's a Taiwan-built carbon fiber layup of Textreme, not your heavier 3K or Toray used in mass-market Chinese frames. A few mods have been made to improve this bike. The stock bottom bracket is press-fit BB386 which is notoriously creaky. The bottom bracket is replaced with a much stiffer thread-together Shimano-compatible (24mm spindle) unit with larger Enduro angular contact bearings - you won't wear it out. The 52/36 Praxis crankset is replaced with a 50/34 (compact) Shimano crankset, and rear derailleur replaced with a newer mid-cage R7000 to accommodate a 34-11 cassette (often used by pros) for a wide gearing range for improved hill climbing. Pedals are not included, but I have some spare Speedplay Zeros for sale. Size-wise, I'm 6'3" with 34 inseam; you probably should be over 6' to fit this bike comfortably. Prefer local pickup in SF bay area; may also be able to deliver along I-5 to PDX or Hood River.
