Listen, I know; a 2014 Anthem? Must have old, steep and scary geometry, “nervous and twitchy?”. It must have been thrashed and have parts that are falling apart and require immediate replacement? These are all justified thoughts and concerns, I get it. That's how particular I am. I have rebuilt and changed oil in the forks and the shock at the recommended intervals or thereabouts. I have replaced all the bearings in the frame set 3 times and each season taken it apart and at least cleaned them. -THE UGLY Well yes of course. The chain might need replacing soon and the brake pads have been used for a while. No surprises there. Oh yes, the brakes are set up moto style - front brake on right. What you get is a fast, very light, still competitive XC bike. Simply put really.
