There is a story that was externally told and there's a story that happened. Not everything aligns. All I'm saying at this point.
Markus was back in charge for quite a while, even if you assume force from PE, he should have either neglected working for them or they should have pulled him. Neither did happen so you can assume PE are not the villain that they have been casted.
Also note that PE didn't have full ownership, Markus and others still had a decent amaunt of shares.

That is in theory correct, but it's also correct that Markus was Managing Director during this time and also before. So this is not a new company now.
I think PE shouldn't be blamed too much. Listen to Sam Nicols Podcast with Vital to get a better picture.
