Transition Bottlerocket

$1500 USD
Hey guys, I'm considering getting rid of my 2012 Transition Bottle rocket, I hunted for a while to find a 2012 frame (best and last year made, due to the tapered head tube, adjustable rear travel and improved geometry) that was also a large, but I haven't ridden it since I put it together and I bought a house so I can use the money for other projects. 2012 frame with tapered head tube size large DXH RC4 shock, compression and rebound hi and lo speed adjustable 600lb spring. Kona Stinky 66RC3 trade for XC/All Mountain

$650 USD
I will not ship the bike. Unless you can come to Seattle we cannot make a deal! I have a 2005 Kona Livewire (special edition Stinky) that I am looking to trade for a more XC/All mountain oriented bike. I got a new job and I cannot ride it without temping myself and trying new lines of the jump tracks. I really cannot afford to hurt myself so I want to swap for an XC/All mountain bike for trail riding. Bike runs great I have ridden it a handfull of times at Duthie, Other than that it has been sitting for a while. Not much room in the cash price, willing to add cash to my bike for yours though. Parts List Medium frame--I am 6'3" and with the long stem it fits me very well. I prefer it to my friends large framed Stinky actually, fits just about anyone. 2009 Marzocchi 66RC3 fork 29" wide FSA bars Sram X9 drivetrain E13 single ring bash gaurd up front Race face DH Race cranks Wellgo sealed alloy platforms with long pins Fox DHX3 rear shock WTB seat MTX 33 rear wheel laced up nice and true Maxxis Minion folding bead tires 2.3 r 2.5 f The bike has been used, it isn't thrashed but it shows some age, I had a 2007 Stinky before this bike a while back and I still prefer this one despite it being older. Just rebuilt the rear hub and laced a new MTX 33 rear rim along with 2 folding bead Maxxis Minion tires. Fork is a 66RC3 2009 model which was rebuilt in 2011, the bike has has only had a handfull of rides since then. Front wheel has a little hop but, plan was to re-lace an MTX33 up front as well. Drivetrain is old and worn but still shifts well, all bearings seem to be nice and tight from what I can tell. The bike rides great.
