New in 2020 and ridden 5 times. High performance aluminium frame with carbon fork. 2x10 Shimano Tiagra gearing and TRP Spyre disc brakes. Cube Aero Disc wheels and Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres. This is a great road bike with quality components. It is light and responsive, but doesn’t compromise on comfort with the frame design and addition of the carbon fork.

Sep 1, 2014Giant Trance X2
$600 GBPSelling my 2011 Giant Trance X2, size medium (18"), with 5" of travel. Owned since new, it has been looked after and serviced by my local bike shop. This year it has had a new cassette, chain, shock bushing, brake pads, and an inner and outer gear cable. Gammut bash guard fitted last year along with dual ring specific front mech. Only selling in order to upgrade to a 2015 Giant Anthem SX or XTC 29er Advanced (haven't made my mind up).
Spec includes:
Fox F125 RL-11 fork with tapered steerer, 15mm QR and 125mm travel
Fox Float RP2 Shock with pro-pedal
Avid Elixir 5 brakes (185/160mm rotors)
Superstar stem
Easton Monkey Bars
SLX finishing kit
Gammut bash guard
Maxxis High Roller rear tyre / Rampage front tyre
Charge Spoon saddle (original Fizik Gobi saddle available)
The Trance rides very well, and is super plush due to the maestro suspension system. There are a few scuffs and cable rub marks, but the frame and fork were covered in helicopter tape from day 1, so overall in good condition. The back wheel has a ding (pictured) which happened last year and has been fine since. The full spec is available here: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/model/trance.x2/7868/45509/#specifications
It's priced to sell at £600 (cost £2350 new), and can be posted for an additional £25 quid (covered in bubble wrap and boxed).

May 13, 2014Giant Defy Composite 3 size L (55.5 cm)
$650 GBPSelling my 2012 Giant Defy Composite (carbon) 3, in large size (55.5 cm). I bought this bike last September from a friend, and I've clocked up about 800 miles since it's been in my ownership. It has been well looked after and serviced by my local bike shop. I bought it knowing it was slightly too big for me, and downsized it with a shorter stem (100 and 110mm stems both available, let me know which one) and moving the seat clamp to the forward position. I've decided to sell it to buy an M/L Defy to better fit me.
Last Monday (5th May) new rear brake pads were fitted, along with a brake cable inner and outer and an inner and outer gear cable. Mounts on the frame are for Roadracer mudguards and will be removed, and so will the Cateye computer and sensor. Bike is standard except for Charge Spoon saddle (comfortable and cheap), a Panaracer Race D Evo rear tyre, and a shorter Giant stem (100mm instead of 110mm - original available).
The Defy rides exceptionally well, and is very comfortable on long rides. The full spec is available here: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/model/defy.composite.3/9316/49820/#specifications
It's priced to sell at £650, and can be posted for an additional £25 quid (covered in bubble wrap and boxed). In the unlikely event that someone has an M/L carbon (Composite or Advanced) Defy and wants a large, I'll happily swap (and pay the difference if it's a higher spec). Pedals/cages not included.
