Photo Story: Nostalgia - The Way We Used To Be
Great article, resonated so much with me. Moved to the east coast and have been missing and reminiscing all of the great adventures I’ve had in Moab and the west coast. Miss those trails so much but thankful for the memories. Also relate to the getting old bit. My body is starting to ache in random places for random reasons. It sucks!

May 15, 2021Canyon Strive CF 8.0 w/ Carbon Wheelset
$4100 USDAll black, fully wrapped with protective vinyl wrap. Excellent condition Canyon Strive CF 8.0. Love this bike but mainly ride XC and my current XC bike is due for an upgrade. Absolutely nothing wrong with this bike, almost all scuffs and normal wear marks are in the vinyl wrap and not even in the frame. The Carbon handle bars and Carbon rear wheel have a couple scuffs (pictures included) but nothing deep or compromising to the performance or integrity of the part. No cracks or, dents or gouges in the frame! The Carbon wheels, and the Canyon’s shape shifter which pivots the rear suspension forward causing the head angle to become 3 degrees steeper and reduce the travel on the shock really does make a noticeable difference on climbs. Overall I’ve been very pleased with this bike and am bummed I don’t ride it more (and can’t afford to keep it).
I’m willing to consider a race oriented full suspension 29er XC bike and nothing else.
