Onbe thing about the dominions - On some very steep descents, I actually managed to make the brakes fade to the point where they suddenly lost all braking power and the lever could be pulled all the way through to the grip. (Hayes sintered pads and 203mm rotors) This happened several times, always on the same track, even after repeated bleeding. However, since I switched to 220mm SRAM HS 2 rotors and Galfer advanced pads, that hasn’t happened anymore. The brakes work perfectly with these components. Maybe this info can help other heavier riders who have the same problem.
