Cool - Sally and I just got our first off road tandem, Larry, - and only got some basic footage so far of me and my son riding (http://youtu.be/VhlKqqM9ZsA?list=UUcG2Y2zgNvkgFemHabis_9g) - but would like to produce something like this. The trouble is the tandem is So Much Fun so we don't stop to do things like video.

We've just got our first off road tandem, and it is so much fun. As to being told what to do from behind - it's probably just communicating what's going on in the back end so the pilot knows what he's got to do next. If a tandem team isn't talking, then it's a team that's going to crash.
