I bought this approx 2.5 years ago as an ex hire bike. Before I bought it a new motor and frame bearings were fitted
Has quite a few scuffs and paint rubs as can be seen from photos. But bike rides great
Just before putting bike for sale and checking over I found my forks were duff so I have replaced with good 2nd hand, they have approx 100hrs on them according to seller. They also come with a spare set of seals and service tool to remove the rebound knob. I also bought a new front wheel.
Fitted a new headset when changing fork.
Bike has had one shakedown run since fitting fork and new headset & wheel.
X fusion McQueen Fork Rl 140mm
Rockshox Monarch R, DebonAir rear shock
Rear wheel is standard WTB Scraper i45 rim on Formula hub, there are some dents on rear rim but never has leaked

May 5, 2022Vitus Dominer Medium 27.5"
$1225 GBPVitus Dominer Downhill Bike
2018 Model
Size Medium
Standard apart from grips & spring.
I have put my old spare DMR pedals on so new owner can ride, they work but are old
In pretty good condition as can be seen from photos, few scrapes and chip under frame (see photos).
Fork does have scratch on stanchion (see photos), but has not caused any problems
Fitted with 600lb spring, also comes with standard 400lb spring.
Not been used in anger since Aug last year so would probably be a good idea for lower fork service soon. I took it out for a quick ride yesterday and was all working fine.
This will be collection only, I am not posting it.
Collection will be from SA12 Port Talbot, although if you are local ish and have paid I may be able to drop off.
Specs below from Vitus.
DOMINER – THE DOWNHILL CHARGER
The Vitus Dominer marries the best attributes from our highly acclaimed Sommet platform, adds more travel and a downhill specific tubeset to create the ultimate race-ready DH rig!
Race-Ready
With RockShox BoXXer World Cup triple clamp forks and RockShox Vivid R2C rear shock providing 200mm of travel at the front and rear, the Dominer will dominate everything in its path. Finished with race-ready components package such as a 7-speed SRAM GX DH groupset, Descendant DH cranks, Novatech/Raceface wheelset and 200mm SRAM Code R brakes, the Vitus Dominer is your ready for any downhill challenge.
Intended Use – Downhill
Wheel Size – 27.5”
Travel – 200mm, Patented Four-bar V-Link Rear Suspension with horizontal floating shock mount
Recommended Fork Travel – 200mm
Construction – 6061 T6 triple butted
Large 150*12mm through axle with Collet lock security
Aggressive Downhill Geometry (low, slack, long )
ISCG 05 mounts for chainguide compatibility
Sizes – S, M, L, XL
Main Pivot Location – This is located in a forward position position, this gives natural anti squat/bob when pedalling in the most commonly used 36T setup without relying on excessive chain tension and none of the related pedal feedback.
Chainstay Pivot Location – This pivot is placed in line with the chainstay eliminating any force directed to the shock linkage causing the shock to compressing (pedal bob) due to chain tension. This pivot location also maximises active suspension when using the rear brake; similar to a floating brake design, without the added weight.
Rearward Axle Path – Because of the main pivot location the Dominer has 70mm of travel with reward axle path helping to keep your momentum over square edged hits.
Leverage rate design – The leverage rate is designed to have a falling rate to sag point then go mildly progressive; this helps the bike sit comfortably in the sag position with a stable platform. The lower shock mount moves forward with the suspension, this helps to keep a linear rate without falling off at full travel. This movement also reduces the shock angle change at full travel reducing side loads and improving the reliability of the shock.
