Sad to say goodbye to this machine, but the time has come to make space in the garage. My beloved Nukeproof Giga 290 Factory (size medium) is in search of a new home. She's not into long walks on the beach, creating a family, or intellectual conversations for that matter. She wants to get down in the dirt, chomp every rock garden you can put in front of her and do it all over again. And again. She climbs surprisingly well for a super-enduro machine with 170mm of travel. I've put some solid upgrades on this bike and everything is in excellent shape, aside from a small paint chip on the drive side dropout as shown. Front and rear suspension was fully serviced in October before putting her away for the winter and now she's re-emerging and hoping to be re-homed to someone that can give her the attention she deserves. The main pivot can easily be adjusted for obtaining a linear or progressive feel of the linkage driven single pivot platform. The frame is wrapped for protection and there is even a downtube bash guard for preventing rock strikes from ruining your day. Internally routed hoses and a UDH with boost hub / axle spacing, 73mm threaded BB shell. Selling a Giant Revolt Advanced in size M/L (56cm), that was custom built from the frame up. This features a SRAM Force 1 x 11 speed drivetrain with Force hydraulic disc brakes. I just put a new drivetrain on, featuring SRAM 10-42t cassette, SRAM XX1 chain and a Wolf Tooth 42t chainring. New Easton EC90 AXX carbon handlebars (42cm width) and Ergon gravel bar tape installed when drivetrain was replaced. Bike is running on Giant's CXR2 carbon wheelset, featuring 35mm deep profile, SAPIM spokes and DT hubs (1500g wheelset without tires). Just serviced freehub and trued wheels, topped off sealant. There is a carbon Giant D-Fuse seatpost, WTB Gravelier titanium rail saddle, WTB Vulpine S rear tire, Terravail Betasso front tire. This is a very fast and light gravel bike that could serve as an all-road option as well with the right tire selection. Used this unit for a two week European trip and it was great for route navigation and cues. I'm not much of a GPS guy so no longer have a need for it. I was imprsssed with the nice color display and long battery life, no complains from my experience with the device. Paid $250.
