A custom built and restored antique by STERIK'S Bikes. A true work of art and collectable. Assembled with the highest attention to detail and quality. Frame manufacturer unknown. Design and construction shows early 1900's. Powder coat finish. Chrome stem and moustache handlebar complete with beech wood grips by Cerchio Ghisallo of Italy. Rare TA 5-pin single crankset with Durkopp inch pitch drive, buffed and polished to like new condition. Brooks Swallow saddle on re-chromed new old stock goose neck seat post. New loose ball BB and bearings rebuilt on a Bayliss Wiley spindle (perfect chain line). Rare Durkopp hubs. Hand built with Wheelsmith DB14 spokes and brass washers on Ghisallo Sprinter 27" rims with carbon fibre inlay (not 700c ERD is 8mm larger). An extremely unique and high quality wheelset. Components are thoroughly cleaned, repacked (were applicable), buffed/polished, and restored to exemplary like new condition. Otherwise the parts are new old stock to begin with. Spokes prepared with Wheelsmith Spoke Prep, and nipples oiled with Wheel Fanatyk CLEAR building oil. Wheels tensioned to 90KGF, within tolerance of 2/10MM radial and lateral true.
