Hi I just recently started reading about Jeff Jones's bike and i am very interested in purchasing a used one. I am interested in either the steel or the titanium spaceframe, but more towards the steel because i feel the titanium may be out of my price range. (to be honest i'd rather have the titanium, but my brain keeps trying to logically tell me that the steel will be sufficient.) The reason i want to buy a used one is because I really would like to demo the bike before i make the purchase and because I do not feel i can afford to buy the bike brand new. I really like Jeff's philosophy about riding ridged but would like to experience it for myself and see if i do agree with his philosophy or not. I would love to purchase a new one, but I cannot justify spending that kind of money on something i've never ridden before. I would rather purchase locally because i would really like to demo the bike before i purchase, but if you are out of state i would still consider purchasing it as long as the price is reasonable.
