Have you ever watched your friends or others at the dirt or trail parks and thought how do they do that?, maybe you got frustrated and thought never me and so on? Maybe it was a big drop? Or a proper bunny hop or manual (who does wheelies anymore, anyway?Wink . Have you like me struggled to learn or find this information simply and accurately on the web. I did and often. I got frustrated. So I decided to try and do something about it. This is my story or more the story http://www.ibikeride.com a skills sharing website full of loads of posts and tutorials to move your game forwardUnsecure image, only https images allowed: http://ibikeride.com/images/stories/skills/fourcross/fourcross.jpg
I love biking and all disciplines of it, from freeriding, to downhill, trail, 4X the lot. I always have two to three new skills I am working on and I bike because nothing else has yet given me as much pleasure.

I am not a natural biker. I have basic balance and basic co-ordination, a bit of balls and am generally reasonably fit. It takes me a long time to learn new skills and a lot of practice. Like many though I persevere and enjoy the learning process and can't get enough of the exhilaration I feel when I eventually conquer something. Some people just watch others, copy and they are away. I need to see this too but I like many, need more in my learning style.

I am realy lucky though as I have great riding buddies who can show me how. The forums also are wonderful.

I wanted to build two things to complement my riding buddies skill sharing, forum searches and the endless practice. I wanted simple well presented articles I could read and re-read that talked through skills and I wanted video tutorials to see it in action and all in one easy to find and navigate place.

I could not find this on the web so I decided 3 months ago to build this myself. The web has so many useful tools today, so when building this I didn't want a flat boring site that looked like a school book. I wanted to create a dynamic and fun environment where riders could come post their own skills and then share them easily between each other. So the site had to be very interactive and user driven. It also had to be inspirational (hence the trail videos section so you can see how these skills are put into practice). The site needed to be entertaining and fun too, absolutely. Anyway the site launched three months back and the site has been growing. The site is called ibikeride.com and can be found at..
