Marin Pine Mountain Steel Rigid 27.5”+

$835 USD
Hunters edition!! ... well Not by Marin, but Customized by me. Stock photo included above. Have All parts to restore to original. (seatpost, saddle & grips) I can DELIVER this bike within a half an hour drive of the Oneonta area (I’ll go farther for a small fee, ask for quote) bought new in march. This is a poor mans Surly Karate monkey pretty much. wide bars, short stem, slack angles. Really fun bike especially in a couple inches of light or packed snow... It has a suspension corrected tapered fork too, so if you want to switch it out to a suspension fork, you would have some options. low miles, about 200. mostly used to do trail work, run errands, and as a back up for when my full suspension was out of commission. This is this perfect chea mi p back up bike for an avid trail bike rider/owner. Excellent condition just a couple minor scrapes from storage and a Lil car bike rack rub In one spot on the fork. I upgraged the front chainring to a sram 28t, and put the nice evo Schwalbe tires on there. (Nick 3.0 front, Ron 2.8 rear) the tires have less use than the bike they are only a couple months old. They set up tubeless nice on the marin wheels. You can fit up to a 3” Tire in the rear. I put a nice comfortable Selle Trans Am saddle on there I had laying around. The pedals stay with me- the only thing I’m keeping. I also added a lever operated non remote 100mm dropper post that I got shipped from China.. Weird brand but it works fine. You just have to reach down by the seat post where there’s a lever right under the saddle to operate it. (Its a 27.2mm post) The only downside I see to this bike is its 9mm quick release for the wheels, but thats what you get with a bike that retails for 1000$. The deore drivetrain works great, and the low end shimano brakes are much smoother than i expected Them to be.
