Lezyne Release Taipei Plugs to Save Your Tyre (And Your Wallet) - Taipei Cycle Show 2023
Can't wait for the E-bike version of the tire patches to be released /s Just get radial tire patches for $5 for a pack of 10 from Canadian tire. The bike industry is hilarious.

Review: 1,000 Miles on SRAM's New Eagle Transmission
Fair point, and I agree for most riders, but if you are racing Enduro a missed shift can cost you a lot of time on a stage. I've had a few bikes with poor cable routing that causes the derailleur to come in and out of adjustment when thrashing rock gardens all day. I have Deore 11spd on my hardtail and I feel no need to upgrade that, but for a racebike I would splurge. Then again, everything else on the racebike is probably top spec as well.

Race face axle for boost trace rear hub

$15 CAD
Brand new in packaging. Part numbers are visible in pictures. Got it for an Aeffect wheel (trace hub?) but it might fit other hubs.

Evolve Announces Canadian Made Origin LT
nobody commenting that this company just resells catalogue frames? Lol there are 3 companies selling the same frames as Evolve, and now they're manufacturing domestically? Such a strange move I never would have seen this coming

First Ride: Prototype Supre Drivetrain - Crankworx Whistler 2022
This really depends on the terrain that you ride. In Eastern Canada, as we all witnessed at the MSA WC last weekend, it is rocky and rough as shit here. Most of my riding friends go through multiple derailleurs per year, and covid shortages have been especially rough for some. The advent of 12spd cassettes makes it more difficult to bend your derailleur back into shape, since more precision is required. I hope to see the Supre option available with more bikes on offerings that aren't cost prohibitive.
