Size medium Cannondale gemini mountain bike. This bike comes with solid components from well respected brands, including Shimano XT drivetrain components, Mavic wheels, a RockShox fork, and a Fox coil rear shock. WTB tires, hydraulic disc brakes, and alloy flat pedals complete the build. The bike has been well-cared for and is in great working condition. All necessary servicing has been done and it has a long life in front of it. A dropper post was installed on it two years ago, which has been a great addition. The post changes in height at the push of a lever on the handlebars, tucking the seat out of the way for easy mounting/dismounting or tricky trails. The hydraulic brakes are powerful and the drivetrain is smooth (consistent with the reputation of Shimano XT components). The suspension on this bike is neat, as the fork can be adjusted in travel on-the-fly from ~100mm to ~140mm, quickly shifting the balance of the bike for better climbing performance while allowing the most travel for the descents. The fork also features a lockout and adjustable rebound. The rear shock can be set in three positions to alter the amount of travel from 140mm-170mm using an allen key, which I have found great to adjust based on the type of riding I am doing that day. It’s a few pounds heavier than the newest bikes, but this is a tough and capable full suspension mountain bike. This bike is an excellent choice for the river valley here in Edmonton, or for most trail riding elsewhere (and I am happy to ship elsewhere, at buyer’s expense).
