Last time i checked Pinkbike was a place for you to post your pictures and videos of you riding (or in your case a lack thereof), you seem to have missed the point completely. Logical?! you want to talk to me about logical, all the replies i have made to your attempts to belittle me have been nothing but logical, unlike you having to go racial as you last ditch attempt to try and humilate me. Face it, you're an idiot and you should just do the world a favour and die. For the record however, i do not follow in Chase's footsteps i couldnt care less about Chase Hawk. The reason i dont not wear a helmet when riding BMX is because a large amount of the riding i do is street where most of the things i ride are below bar height, A fall from that height would not cause sufficent damage to my head to cause any lasting damage, for example you no doubt know that Mike Aitken has recently sustained a serious head injury from riding trails whilst not wearing a helmet, the fall that he had was from quite high up such that the force from landing was enough to put him in a coma. A fall from bar height is not enough to give you such a serious injury. And just so you know, when i ride my MTB i always wear my helmet because when i ride my MTB im generally going faster than i would be on my BMX and sometimes landing from higher than i would on my BMX, so i protect myself.

Well that may well be the case that you dont ride at all, there is no requirement on Pinkbike that says you must ride a bike to join which means anyone at all could join and post any random pictures of a bike to try and say they ride a bike. No, it's true you didn't say that having a brake magically makes you prone to injury, but as i said previously the discussion is about how riding brakeless can make you more prone to injury or as you so elegantly put it "slam into a tree one day". The reason your argument is void is because, as if i didn't make it perfectly clear before, if someone as highly skilled as harry main can lose control of his bike even WITH a brake then it really doesnt matter whether or not you do or don't have one. You're arguing that being brakeless gives you less contral than with a brake. Harry runs a brake and he lost control therefore by process of induction it is viable to say that anyone of whatever skill level, bar those who are of a higher skill level than Harry, is prone to injury with or without a brake. As for Chase Hawk oh fucking no he doesn't wear a helmet, so what thats his own personal choice AS IS BEING BRAKELESS if little kids choose to follow in his footsteps and not wear a helmet and as a consequence get injured that's their own fault for being stupid and maybe they deserve to get injured, by not wearing a helmet Chase Hawk is accepting all the possible consequences of injuries that may result from him not wearing one. Wearing a helmet or not wearing a helmet is a CONSCIOUS DECISION and, going back to my point from before, if little kids are not able to make that decision for themselves ten that is out of their own stupidity. Now, what you'l go on to say is that i don't wear a helmet and that is true. While riding BMX i do not wear a helmet, that too was my own choice; you may say that i have "neurological problems" but fact of the matter is i am much, much smarter than you.

well done however for knowing that harry broke his leg, i see you also pay attention to the VODs on pinkbike as not so long ago was the edit of him after hed recovered so well done for noticing. since there are pictures of a bmx on your profile i assume you know at least a little bit about bmx and since it seems like all you do is sick in front of your computer all day then im assuming you know who chase hawk is... well he rides trails brakeless and he doesnt crash into trees all that often and watchign edits of him, there seem to be a lot of tree where his jumps are. And coming back to the point about harry, there are two things wrong with the statement you made about him breaking his leg 1) he broke it in the dew tour, a competition. professional bmxers exert themselves more than usual in competitions obviously cause they want to win and to do so they have to push the boundries and harry pushed it too far hence why he got injured 2) this discussion was about riding brakeless and how that could potentially cause a crash, well harry rides a brake does he not? well since he rides a brake and he still injured himself it basically makes your whole argument void because if someone such as harry main, who undoubtedly has a very high level of skill and bike control, can injure themselves riding then anyone can at any given time so it really doesnt matter whether someone rides with or without a brake and also why you should shut the fuck up

sorry for my late reply, i actually like to spend my time doing other things aside from arguing on the internet. from the sounds of it matt, you clearly have no friends, so instead you spend everyday just saying controversial shit replying to people's comments trying to provoke a response just so you can have some form of human contanct that isnt your mother tucking you into bed at night. tom is right, you cant say anything about riding really as there is no ACTUAL evidence that you do, in fact, ride all there is on your profile is pictures of your bike. if there were actually pictures of you doing something with that bike of yours other than taking pictures of it then maybe i could value your opinion as a bike rider but unfortunately you dont.

mate, just stfu. If you agree that tomlotus123 was just expressing his opinion there's really no need for you to have a period over it (it attracts bears), some people prefer brakeless and some people don't. Personally i have ridden both and i much prefer brakeless simply because it does in fact make you smoother as a rider and i personally have definately progressed faster without one than with cause it forces you to try more stuff and not bitch out. Admittedly, i dont ride trails, but that's not to say i havent ridden trails brakeless, it is scary but as for your "youre just asking him to slam into a tree" comment... well, he wouldn't if, you know, he knew how to ride a bike, maybe thats not the case with you who knows...
