This is a 2017 Trek Slash 9.8 full carbon frame with 150mm rear travel. The Fork is a 2019 Lyric RC2 DebonAir with 51mm offset 15 x 110mm. The frame has a small crack at upper downtube. This frame needs all new suspension pivot bearings. The price is discounted to reflect the following work that needs to be done 1. Small crack at upper down-tube = Repair cost $375. Got a quote from Montenegro Manufacturing in Los Angeles. The sixth picture shows the small crack. 2. All new suspension pivot bearings = around $300 including labor. Quote from Trek shop. 3. Needs new cassette, chainring and chain. The fork and rear shock are in good working order. Parts list: 2020 OneUp dropper post 180mm, Renthal FatBar carbon handlebars, Bontrager stem, XT four piston brakes, Light Bicycle AM928 carbon wheels with Industry Nine Torch Hubs, XO carbon cranks. Tire are DHR 2.4 exo front and Dissector 2.4 exo rear. I am the original owner and applied Invisiframe when purchased. I have not ridden this bike since June 2020. This bike is like a medium with todays bikes with a 445 reach in low setting. I thought about restoring this bike but when I rode it around the street the reach is to short for me to invest in now, even as a back up bike.. The head angle is 65 degrees in low. I think you could have a nice Slash after the new parts and carbon repair for a total in the low $2000 range. Local pick up is my preference to avoid shipping hassle.

Purchased as frame only April 2021 from Competitive Cyclist. Rode the Tallboy for 8 months until November 2021. Got a Ebike in November 2021. The Tallboy has not been ridden since. Kept it as a back up bike. Decided to strip it down and sell it. I applied Invisiframe prior to build up. Frame is in excellent condition. The scratches on the chainstay from the rear tire are mostly to the Invisiframe. This Tallboy has the adjustable chainstays. The Cascade Link ($300) adds another 8mm of rear shock travel and 5mm to the chainstay length. All the hardware for the stock set up is included, which is 120 rear. STEM, SEAT, SEATPOST, HEADSET AND FORK NOT INCLUDED. This frame is in excellent condition and had invisiframe installed before being built up. Rode this frame for 8 months om my local trails and decided it was too much bike for my needs so got a short travel 29er in April 2021. So the frame has been unused since then. There are no scratches or blemishes to the frame except on the invisiframe at the right seat stay and a scratch on the inner right side chainstay. The frame came with a 2021 Fox Float X2. The frame was well maintained with regular service to the switch infinity. The frame includes Dub bottom bracket and the Yeti grease gun and grease. Prefer local pick up. Yeti is selling this frame for $4,300 now.
