Aug 15, 2015Commencal Meta 55 - Rockshox, Fox, Hope, Dt Swiss, Reverb
$650 GBPCommencal Meta 55, 2010, size large, Fox float RP2 shock with large air volume reducer (I'll include the small and medium spacers with the sale), titanium shock bolt, Burgtec titanium offset bushes - currently set to low and slack.
Rockshox revelation, dual air, 150mm
Hope Pro 2 hubs, DT Swiss 5.1D with Schwable Hans Dampf trailstar on the front, Fulcrum Red Fire with Schwalbe Rock Razor pacestar on the rear
Zee Brakes - 200mm Icetec front, 180mm rear
Zee mech
SLX shifter, I spec direct mount
XT cassette, 10 speed, 11-36t
KMC X10SL
Absolute black narrow wide chainring, 32t
Funn Full On bars, 785mm
Superstar Zephir Pro stem, 50mm
Bontrager seat
Rockshox Reverb 125mm
The bike has been used and the paintwork has scuffs/marks as shown on the photos (particularly heel rub on the chain stay and chips on the underside of the downtube from stones being flicked up by the front wheel).
The 2008 and 2009 metas had problems with cracks however they resolved this for the 2010 frames and there are no cracks or dents. Both tyres have some wear, the front will need to be replaced soon. A DU bushing in the lower shock mount needs to be replaced and I can arrange for it to be changed before the sale.
Bike is located near Brighton and cash on collection would be preferred. I can arrange for a courier at the buyers expense.

Jul 26, 2014Lapierre DH Team, Fox 40/DHX, Fulcrum, Funn, XO
$1300 GBP2010 Lapierre DH Team - offset bushing installed to adjust the bottom bracket height and head angle
Fox 40s with SKF seals installed during recent service
FOX DHX RC4 serviced and tuned by NS dynamics for the frame and Shaun O’Connor
Fulcrum Red Fire UST Wheels
Sram XO drivetrain
E13 chain device (custom for the frame) – taco bash plate has a crack and requires replacement
Funn cranks
Funn seatpost and saddle
Funn direct mount stem
Answer pro taper DH bars – uncut
Formula The One brakes
Continenal Der Kaiser 2.5 front tyre setup tubeless
Continental Project 2.4 rear tyre setup tubeless
Also included with the bike:
Spare Fulcrum Red Fire rim (used)
Spare brake pads
Hutchinson Toro tyre
Continental Der Kaiser 2.5
Spare E13 chain device back plate unused (custom for the frame)
Spare E13 upper and lower guides used
Disc rotor protector unused (custom for the frame)
The frame was warranty replaced in late 2011 and has been used for a week long holiday and 8 shuttle trips. I wasn't planning on selling it and have kept it running perfectly but an illness in the family means I have had to move. The frame has been helitaped to protect it from new however it is starting to peel away and collect dust on the underside (see fork pics). The helitape on the seatstay came off and the paint has been scuffed by my heel (see photos for details). Only other things to note are that the tubeless tyres could do with some fresh sealant due to having sat unused for months and the taco bash plate has a crack at one of the mounts, it is still secure but should be replaced.
Pickup and cash on collection preferred (10mins north of Brighton) but a courier could be arranged.

Video: The On-One Codeine
I'd buy this in a second if it were a shade longer in reach, 450-460mm would be great for me.

Oct 8, 2012Iron Horse 7point7 bargain
$1000 USDItem: Iron Horse 7 point7, 17inch, complete.
Location: Located in Sydney (North Shore), will post at buyers expense.
Item condition: The bike was well used and upgraded as required until 2011. Everything is in working order however it does have scuffs and scratches (see photos).
Frame: Iron Horse 7point7 – the lower link swingarm bearings were replaced and a titanium axle installed. I have a couple of spare bearings that I’ll include with sale. The top shock mount hardware was replaced (with longer lasting through axle type). The paint is chipped and there is a minor indentation at the base of the down tube from stones being flicked up by the front wheel (see close up photos). The seatstays have frame tape applied that is starting to look a bit tatty. There are no cracks.
Shock: Fox DHX 5 – 350lb (fitted) and 300lb spring. All dials work great.
Forks: Rockshox Totem solo air – serviced at the start of last year, including the installation of new seals. The bike has only been ridden a couple of times since. The mission control cartridge was replaced under warranty by sram with a motion control compression cartridge as they didn’t have a mission cartridge at the time. The forks are covered in frame tape which has kept the paint in good condition (although it is starting to peal away a bit). There is a pin hole scratch on the right stanchion. I smoothed the scratch and it does not affect the sealing or smoothness of the fork. You can’t feel it when running your finger over it (I just spent 5mins trying to find it for the photos!).
Wheels: Hope AM4 wheelset (straight pull hope pro 3 hubs with DT swiss ex 5.10 rims) with 203mm hope rotors. Rear wheel is slightly out of true but it’s not noticeable when riding.
Brakes: Shimano Saint M800 – new pads in the rear and I have a spare set of xtr pads that I’ll include in the sale.
Shifter: Sram X9
Rear mech: Sram X9
Chain device: E thirteen
Cranks and BB: Raceface Atlas – scuff marks from shoes
Chain: KMC X9 SL
Cassette: Shimano xt 11t-34t
Bars: Easton EA70
Stem: Raceface diabolous
Seatpost: SDG I-beam
Saddle: SDG I-beam – torn on the corners
Headset: FSA orbit extreme
Front tyre – Schwalbe Big Betty, soft compound, DH casing
Rear tyre – Hutchinson Bull Dog, DH casing
Pedals – Outland, concave platform. These have had a hard life on a hardtail bike but are still perfectly functional.
Reason for selling: Bought an xc bike and a DH bike so this doesn’t get used anymore.
Price and price conditions: $1000 AUD prefer cash on collection but could arrange postage at buyers expense.
Extra Info: I will consider splitting the bike if the frame and forks go first.
I’ll be sorry to see it go but it hasn’t been used for nearly 2 years now.
I’m also selling another complete bike, a frame, a couple of seatposts and some pedals on this forum.
