Poll: Which X Games Real MTB Edit is Your Favorite?
@scott-townes: I thought her edit was absolutely worth an entry in here, I don't see it as a token entry. Bottom line she rips, and her edit was a joy to watch.

First Ride: 2022 Trek Session - Nope, Not Going to Say It
I wonder if it's not more that the rearward axle path rides so well and such a difference relative to the previous bike, some of that was attributed to the frame material vs. the axle path and rear end kinematics.

Review: Canyon Sender vs Specialized Demo vs Cube Two15 vs Commencal Supreme - DH Bike Week
The new Sender ditched all the bushings in the pivots, and replaced them with properly big bearings. I've been beating on one for months in the Whistler Bike Park, haven't done a minute of maintenance, and the backend has zero play. It looks like Canyon took all of the issues of the original Sender, and addressed all of them in the Sender CFR.

Results: New Zealand National DH Series Round 2 - Dome Valley
I'm almost 40, and just started racing Downhill again and LOVING it. So much fun, and I think in many ways less risky for me than Enduro. The speeds are higher sure, but I can learn the track, and can work up my speed over a number of runs. Ultimately a more controlled environment than going balls out into a track that my foggy old brain can't recall 3 seconds after leaving the start.

It's a tough situation, and I see both sides. I can empathize with Kate wanting to race DH. Kate should be able to race, and I can see the reluctance to have a third field for transgendered folks. So lets take things back to the roots of sex divided categories. Men have a biological advantage in many physical sports, and particularly in downhill. A region mid-pack Pro Men racer is often faster than the quickest Pro Women. This isn't in any way disrespect to the women's racers, I think women racers are incredible, there is simply a significant performance difference between men and women in downhill MTB. Expecting women to "suck it up" and "be better" to be competitive with the Pro Men is unreasonable. And if we're to follow down that path, why have sex divided categories at all? A Women's category is created so that women can compete with other women of the same biology, not of the same gender identity. I think gender identity has confused the reason we have different categories for sexes. So why not remove the legacy labels of "Mens" and "Womens" and simply use the biological nomenclature for classifying categories? There would be a XX Pro and XY Pro category. This removes the stigma and difficulty around gender identity and allows everyone to compete on a biologically even playing field.

Review: 2021 Fox 38 vs RockShox Zeb - Single Crown Standoff
But why?! I mean I get it that Grip2 is exceptional ... but I'd pick the 38 chassis over the Zeb. Maybe use the air spring from the Zeb in the 38 if that's your thing ...

Review: 2021 Fox 38 vs RockShox Zeb - Single Crown Standoff
@DMal: 75kg and running 105 psi with 3 tokens! Wow that seems firm for someone that weight. I'm 15 kg heavier and running the same air spring setup. Then again I'm running quite a bit more damping on compression and rebound. Interesting take away though.

Review: 2021 Fox 38 vs RockShox Zeb - Single Crown Standoff
I thought the same thing. I find I can get the GRIP2 damper to be more supportive without feeling harsh vs. the Charger damper. I find the 38 very supportive in the steeps, and then on lower angle faster trails it rides tall, but isn't harsh. I'd be interested to know what the reviewer weight is, and what travel each fork was. I'm running a very similar air spring setup, but much more LSC and more rebound damping (he must like a very fast rebound). My settings on a 170 mm 38 are: Air 105 psi with 3 tokens LSC 6 clicks out HSC 5 clicks out LSR 4 clicks out HSR 4 clicks out His Zeb settings are closer to what I'd run, although I'm still a bit slower on the rebound, and running a bit more LSC, one click less HSC.
