Quite the adaptable little beast, Ogre can get you to your job during the week, then way out of town on the weekend. It’s not sluggish on pavement or gravel and can also hold its own on singletrack. Ogre is designed to be the ultimate steel utility vehicle. It relishes in those “take-the-long-way-home-and-find-some-beverages-along-the-way” sort of commutes. Snow, sleet or sweltering humidity, this is an ideal year-round commuter bike. You can also haul enough crap on it that you don’t even have to go home if you don’t want to. Fitted with a 5 speed throttle or pedal assist electric front hub drive system, with integrated safety lighting. Currently battery capacity is about 12miles but a new battery would get you triple this. Also has light hardwired-into the battery system. It has 2.2in wide slick tires, Avid cable disc brakes and 21-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain all maintained through MEND bike shop. It also boast tons of barnacles more than you could ever possibly ask for including rack and fender, multiple three-pack mounts and mid-blade. I used it to commute for a few years but it has not been ridden consistently over the past two years as my work schedule has changed. At $1200 it is s great deal considering the new Surly Orge will cost you just under 2K without any electric assist!

I am selling as this shock was installed when I purchased the bike but I opted to ride with coil in the rear. The few markings are from uninstalling it. This thing is super sweet! I have had it less than a year and sat through the winter indoors. I rebuilt the Fork, shock and put on the headset. New brake pads in May with about 30mi on them. Frame is In good shape with clear protective wrap. Rim in the rear has a small dent but it holds air fine, it was there when I bought it. I also have a new Warden bearing set ($110) I'm throwing in as well. Hate to sell but as I have begun to ride this season I really need a large frame. I like to ride in the small side but the reach is just a little tight.
