Jun 22, 2025Bell Super DH MIPS
$70 GBPFull disclosure I bought this from pinkbike, from a trusted seller I have dealt with before. It is barely used, un-sweated in, unmarked, boxed.
Disappointingly this is too big for me despite being only a Large and me normally being a large. I have taken loads of pics but feel free to request more or arrange to try before you buy.
£70 or a bit more posted.
Here’s the description from Bell:
Color: Sand/Black
Product highlights
MIPS is a Brain Protection System
Rotational motion can cause brain injuries
The low friction layer allows a sliding movement of 10–15 mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact
MIPS adds protection

Designed to excel in competitive DH and park environments, the Super DH is a no holds barred gravity-sport champion. In addition to the protection offered by MIPS Spherical, the Super DH is loaded with features; including a 360-degree wraparound, tool-free removable chin bar beefy enough to satisfy the rigors of ASTM 1952 testing, huge eyeglass and goggle friendly eye-port, adjustable-height visor, snap-in camera mount, Overbrow Ventilation and X-Static padding, and a quality fit that is second to none. The end result is uncompromising protection and performance, and unparalleled versatility. The Super DH is ready to take World Cup DH runs on the chin, bang out bike park laps until the chairlifts stop running, or settle into hours of backcountry uphill grinding in search of that perfect ribbon of high-consequence singletrack.

Jun 7, 2024Kona Cowan Dirt Jump
$250 GBPThis bike is based on a classic frame and forks. Around its time there wasn’t a better set up for dirt jumping and you still see these. The rest of the build is made up of many new and some spare parts. The spec list is:
Kona Cowan aluminium hardtail frame.
Marzocchi Dirt Jump forks
Halo T2 bolt up dirt jump rear wheel with new bearings. Halo freewheel 11t
Pacenti CL25/Novatec front wheel (NEW)
Slick tyres, great for streets! NEW
Prologo saddle
Clark’s Clout Disc brakes NEW
Lifeline 180mm floating front rotor, Hope 140mm rear.
Kona bar and stem NEW
Easton EA50 seatpost
Rasta multicolour headset NEW
Deore cranks
KMC 1/8 BMX chain
NEW Ragley seatpost clamp, grips, nylon flat pedals.
Currently the issues are that the rear wheel is slightly out of true; I have put a piece of carbon-effect protective tape over a large patch where the paint is a mess but, don’t worry, this doesn’t hide anything structural; the brake hoses need cutting down (unless you want them long for bar spins!); and the suspension makes the normal squelchy noise for its age although it does work well and the stanchions are a1. It has basic street tyres as I had originally intended to sell or perhaps even donate this to a local kid but then it ended up costing more to build. Please don’t call but send a text or email.
