May 13, 2024Bird AM9 - Size M/L
$475 GBPI'm selling my AM9 due to upgrading to the recently released Bird Aeris AM.
This frame was ahead of it's time and has pretty much the same geometry as bikes being release now when paired with a 160mm fork.
- The frame is mechanically sound but has wear marks from use which is as expected.
- The shock is a RockShox Super Deluxe RCT DebonAir 230x65mm, which is in great condition with no marks on the shaft. I take off the air can to replace the oil and clean everything once a year.
- Bearings are in great working order and were replaced less than approx 25 rides ago.
- Rear axle and headset included.
I'm happy to drive approximately 30mins in any direction from Bristol for collection.
Thanks

Oct 27, 2020Fox DHX2 Factory with Climb Switch
$395 GBPHi,
Selling my DHX2 Coil shock as I has swapped for an air shock. It comes with two Cane Creek Vault springs of 350 and 400 lbs. The 350 lbs spring has some light visual damage as you can see in the photo but it doesn't effect it structurally.
Eye to eye is 230mm x 65mm.
Happy to answer any questions,
Thanks

Jun 16, 2019YT CAPRA AL
$1200 GBPHi, I’m selling my 2015 YT Capra AL due to recently buying a new stead. The large size is perfect for someone around 5ft9 – 5ft11. I’ve just replaced the front and rear hub, cassette and main pivot bearings myself so it’s rolling well! There is general wear and tear but no structural damage to worry about. This is one of the best all rounder bikes I’ve owned! Most of the geometry is still considered modern as YT were ahead of their time with this bike.

Apr 16, 2016YT Capra AL Frame with Monarch Plus
$695 GBPI'm selling my YT Capra AL frame as I have recently swapped it out for a large as that is a better fit for me. These bikes are amazing and have had great reviews! The Aluminium version is only slightly heavier than the carbon equivalent but is far more reliable and wallet friendly.
Everything on the frame is aluminium apart from the upper rear triangle which is carbon fibre. It's covered in protective tape so the paint will be as good as new. There are the occasion general riding scratches but no dents or cracks. The rear hanger is also straight and in good condition.
The frame comes with a RockShox High Volume Monarch Plus RC3 which is great enduro riding with a climb switch to adjust the compression on the fly.
I'm currently based in Bristol but I often spend the weekends at the Forest of Dean or Sheffield and can bring the frame with me if needed. Feel free to ask any questions :)

Nov 30, 2015RockShox Lyric RC2DH Solo Air
$325 GBPHello,
These forks are only 6 months old and in great working condition, no scratches on the stanchions and only minor cable rub on the paint. They have low and high speed compression as well as rebound adjust and an air chamber to adjust the stiffness. They are currently 170mm long but can be adjusted to 160mm if a spacer is bought and inserted (I'm not 100% sure on how to do this). They have a 1 1/8th steerer tube, not tapered, 20mm axle, and are designed for 26" wheels.
These are possibly the best forks I've ever ridden; great adjustability that is simple to use, very smooth, good balance of stiffness and weight. RockShox are reliable and easy to service too! Currently retail at £545 on chainreactioncycles. I am currently living in Bristol but I am occasionally in Ross-on-Wye and Sheffield.
If you're interested or have any questions send me a message! :)

Oct 4, 2015Specialized SX Trail - Price Drop
$695 GBPHi All,
Time has come to sell my trusty SX Trail. This bike is incredible value for money and can be raced on DH tracks as well as take you on casual XC rides. It currently rides as if it were a new bike as I have recently bought new forks, drivetrain, stem, tyres, grips, brake pads and I replaced the bearings in the frame and front hub about 5 months ago. The frame has usual wear and tear for a bike of this age but has no significant damage like dents etc. The forks are best I've ever ridden and are in immaculate condition. I have made my rims tubeless to save weight and improve performance but you can switch back to tubes anytime! I also have spare coils for the rear shock incase you are lighter than me (70kg).
Main Spec:
Forks: 2015 Rockshox Lyric Solo Air 170mm RC2 DH
Frame: 2007 Specialized SX Trail with Fox DHX 5.0 shock, 170mm travel
Rims: Mavic EX 721
Seat and Post: STG I-Beam
Brakes: Avid Elixer R
Cranks: Shimano Deore LX Hollowtech
Pedals: Shimano Saint MX 80
Tyres: Maxxis High Roller and Minion EXO single ply.
Drivetrain: Raceface Thick-thin chainring with Superstar chain guide (your chain will never fall off), Shimano Zee derailleur
Weight: 34.6 lb
Cheers,
Tom
