Once Upon a Trail in Switzerland: ITRS certification, trail rating done the right way
Hey, feel free to get in touch via [email protected] and, if you like, schedule a call. Implementing ITRS is generally free of charge. Depending on the project it makes sense to work together with a certified trail rater (we can get you in touch with one in Canada), or, as Yari put it, send a person to a trail rating training. Cheers, Mischa

Details Announced for ITRS - 'A Standardized Trail Rating System for a Safer, More Accessible Mountain Biking Experience'
@shawmanz32na: The ITRS does not make prescriptions for signage. If someone wants to include the rating of all 4 aspects of a route on a sign, we suggest to use the ITRS route pie (and not the individual symbols for endurance etc). In this route pie there are additional dots in the 4 quarters to support readability for color blind people and in weathered conditions. Please check the professional system description available for free on www.itrs.bike Such signage is in place at Lake Garda in Italy since 2 years and the user feedback in a survey was very positive.

@donimo: Thanks a lot for this very supportive statement. That’s exactly why we are investing time into this. We are working together with a national project in Finland evaluating if the ITRS can be introduced there and one person is joining our next training. So there is hope for you
