that fork is 2 inches too high on the frame but for 550$ i would nt complain i would buy it take the forks off put dj forks on it and sell the forks for 550$... ;)

you need to get a coil shock that will support your weight plus a 200lbs extra in case yo like the occasional drop off ...
by the way i don't believe in name brands they're mostly bling bling and no performance go with something you feel comfortable riding and that does the job ....for the pedals anything that will prevent your foot from sliping, wellgo has a couple of not so expensive pedals that could suit you

get a front brake, get a coil shock but don't trade the one you have, a spare comes in handy and lose the grips and the pedals get better ones.... by the way you have ghosts in your pictures (orbs)

the best thing to do is buy new lowers, welding them back on will not only bend the lowers but also weaken the other parts around the piece you fixed
