Those tyres were on as I was doing loads of road miles to and from work getting fit for the Megavalanche, and I went with those rims because they are light and pretty strong. They survived the Mega until the last day (after the main race) when a rock impact from the side made a large enough dent to let all the air out of the rear tyre.

Formula The One Review - The Big Braking Point
I bought some Formula The One's last year to do The Megavalanche with - a million times better than my Hope Ti 6's from the year before. They NEVER let me down and that's over a 26km track which last year featured snow, ice, mud, steams, dust, grit and grime, one minute you are doing 50mph the next you are doing 2mph on the edge of a huge drop. They are simply brilliant.
