Genesis High Latitude 20 29er Hardtail

$490 GBP
Will ship for £45 Genesis High Latitude 20 29er 17.5" Hardtail 2015 This bike is in great condition with the orignal tyres. The bike has been recently serviced, replacing chain and rear cassette with new 3 rides ago. It is a fantastic hardtail and alot of fun to ride. There are one or two marks on the front of the fork and stem. THIS WILL NOT COME WITH THE SEAT DROPPER. THE STANDARD SEAT POST WILL BE SUPPLIED. Copied from online below with a few updates to pedals and grips. Here's what Genesis say: We've kept the winning formula from last year's High Latitude but added some key touches. Not least of these is a top-end X-Fusion Slide RL2 fork featuring a tapered steerer, a 15mm bolt through axle and an air spring - it's one of the smoothest operating forks we've tested and to be honest you probably won't even notice it on the trails - this is a good thing. Matched with a weight saving 2x Deore drivetrain including Shadow+ clutch rear mech and equipped with unflappable Maxxis Ardent tyres (on wide, tubeless-ready Alex Volar 2.3 rims, no less) you can see why, out of the box, the High Latitude 20 is probably the quickest hardtail in our range. The bike frame is made with Mjölnir chromoly. AKA ‘Thor’s Hammer’ and pronounced ‘Myol-n(ee)r‘. Our new double-butted, cold-drawn, seamless, Taiwanese chromoly tubeset also goes by the aliases of 4130, Cr-Mo and Chromo. It’s a like-for-like replacement for other, identical branded chromoly tubing and ultimately means a saving can be passed onto you via either a healthy price drop or a little more room for up-speccing without sacrificing performance. Tubeless-ready rims T nice-n-wide Alex Volar 2.3 rims (28.4 mm OD/23mm ID) give a great high volume, tyre profile to the Maxxis Ardent 2.25" tyres, weigh in at an impressively light @ 470g and come with a tubeless ready bead hook – upgrade-ready; just add rim tape and sealant! 44mm headtube The large, oversize Ø44 headtube found at the front of the Latitude is largely responsible for the unwavering front end stiffness and pinpoint sharp handling and tracking. Ensuring full compatibility with the tapered steerer fork, it also provides a larger weld surface area at both the downtube and toptube junctions to allow for larger diameter tubes and a tube shaping/maniupulation Clean cockpit The Shimano M447 hydraulic disc brakes (180/160mm rotors) come with the new-and-improved 2-finger BL-M506 levers which just so happen to be I-Spec compatible. We've matched them to Deore I-Spec shifters for a cleaner cockpit allowing the shifter to mount directly the brake, reducing the amount of clamps on the handleabr and increasing the range of adjustability and room to fine tune your cockpit Technical Information Frame and Fork Frame: Genesis Mjölnir Seamless Double-Butted Cromoly Fork: X-Fusion Slide RL2, w/ 15mm Thru-Axle & Tapered Steerer (80/100mm Travel) Headset: FSA Orbit ITA-A Sealed Cartridge Colour: Shadow Blue Weight: 13.13kg (17.5" w/o pedals) Sizes: 16/17.5/19/20.5" Transmission Shifters: Shimano Deore SL-M610 I-Spec Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore RD-M615 Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore FD-M615 Chainset: Shimano Deore FC-M615 38/24T Bottom Bracket: Shimano SM-BB51, 73mm Cassette: Shimano CS-HG50 11-36T Wheels and Braking Hubs: Shimano Deore HB-M618 15mm/FH-M615 Rims: Alex Rims Volar 2.3 w/ TCS, 32H Spokes: Sapim Race Butted w/ Brass Nipples Tyres: Maxxis Ardent, 29x2.25" Brakes: Shimano BR-M447 w/ SM-RT54 180/160mm Rotors Brake Levers: Shimano BL-M506 Contact Zones Handlebars: Genesis MTB Flatbar w/ 9 Stem: Genesis MTB +/-7 Grips: Superstar.
