@DaveJube: Nice generalisation there. What makes you think "roadies" and "mountain bikers" are mutually exclusive? Is descending a winding mountain pass at 80kph not an example of fine bike handling skill?

@CaptainSnappy: Same here. My bike came with an X-Fusion Hilo which gave me no end of problems. I replaced it with Reverb and only wish I'd done so much sooner. It's been rock solid reliable for almost a year. I have just discovered that the cable connection to the remote is vulnerable to being snapped off if you crash in a certain way (even with a lefty remote mounted upside down), but spares are fairly cheap and easy to find.

Agree with Nathan - the twenty minute highlight is fine, but it would be a step forward to have some final stages screened live.

Cannop Trail Centre in the Forest of Dean
A great place for mountain biking, but it does get rather busy sometimes.
