Race Report: Colombian Enduro Series

With the Andes mountain range running from top to bottom of the country, Colombia, like most of South America presents some of the most challenging and beautiful scenarios for our sport, no wonder the country hosted a round of the EWS earlier this year. For the final round of the national series, we headed to the center of the country, a small town called Susa, famous for milk cattle and, for our fortune, also for its impressive steep mountains.

November brings together rains all over the country and the area was no exception, transforming otherwise dry and grippy chutes into mudslides and grease covered rock gardens.

Three 8 kms liaisons and techy, fast stages presented this round as one of the most demanding and physically challenging of the year. The fight for the overall points championship meant this round was a "go big or go home" kind of race.

We say goodbye to a 2018 season full of challenging rounds, incredible riders and an evergroing fanbase for the sport. The rest of the year is left to keep riding as we are blessed with riding weather all year long; so if you want to escape the cold north come down to Colombia, we'll be more than happy to show you around.
