Foes Mixer: Breaking the Rules ...Again - Interbike 2015
I converted my 26" Ibis SL to 27.5" front and rear for about a month before switching to 29" on the front. There is no way I would go back to any other set up. The bike just climbs and rolls over everything, slacker and more stable. Definitely worth trying before spending big money on a new bike. http://forums.mtbr.com/ibis/mojo-2009-coming-out-hibernation-79er-953032.html#post11822491

Yes 18mm and added more oil on the air side to suit the less travel. I plan to add an AVR (air volume reducer) for more consistent progression. I actually like the fork performance better with this set up.

Front wheel has been changed to 27.5/650b- low riser/wider bar- 27.5"/2.3NN fr tire 26"2.4 NN. Fork feeling and overall riding ability has improved due to bigger front wheel and improved geo. Still climbs like a goat.

It is pre hand job. I think it originally had a seat post binder cable stop. It will work with v-brake as is.
