Bike Check: Scott Beaumont's Specialized Enduro SX
This bike changed how I saw XC riding - everything was a playground. Low, slack, fast, tough, but with short travel to keep you honest. What bikes are out there like this now? Maybe a Tallboy?

DHX RC4, 500s2.35 stock spring (see pics)
Not far off new, 5 rides old max. I bought the wrong size in haste! (I'm 5'11")
Excellent condition, some minor chain slap on the stays.
1 1/8 FSA headset (specialized reducer cup is installed as it's a tapered headtube).
I also have a shortened black Thomson seatpost if required for a few extra $.
I would consider a swap for a 2010 Medium Enduro, or 09/10 Pitch, Scratch or Remedy frame.
Reduced: $900 or near offer.
