I would be really interested in hearing that answer!
I already picked up a v10 but haven't been able to ride it yet.
Anyway, if I had a few extra bucks I would have gotten the demo 8 carbon, but I haven't ridden either so feel free to shed some light Pete! : (

Wish this was carbon, still such a nice bike though. It makes me want to pretend the extra 8lbs doesnt exist.
