@slayersxc17: I’ve really liked it! I got it so that we could tote around adult and kid sized bikes. We had an 4-bike 1Up rack that honestly kind of sucked. The 1up design is great for 1 or two bikes but with 4, the leverage on the main pivot tilting pin wallowed out the aluminum until it was very wobbly. It also was annoying to try to fit kids bikes on and you have to use a wrench to move the tire grabbing parts. The Lolo was an upgrade in every sense. Agree with everything that microwaveric said- bikes with short handlebars will sometimes have interference with the shifter cables. Other things I like: it is easier to store than the front wheel basket style racks cause it takes up less room. There are no plastic parts to break. Mine is the first generation rack (had it since 2020) and haven’t had any problems other than my wife bending the bottom rail when backing it into a hill (I just yanked it straight). I have the pin version and it is a pain to try to drop it with bikes loaded. I usually just unload them before dropping. I would love to try the swing away version but I don’t have the cash for that right now. The handlebar cradle definitely rubs on bars- it has rubbed the paint off of a few bars but not any more than that. Touring bikes are a bit of a pain because handlebar bags need to be removed and rear pannier racks either need to be removed or padded with a pool noodle against the rear wheel strap rail. Every rack is a compromise though, and I’ve learned to live with the downsides.

LOLO racks. Made in USA. It was the first, and the best of this design.
