Up for sale is my 2017 Cannondale Scalpel Carbon 2. It is an XL and it is in fantastic shape. Last tax refund I went a little overboard and bought a Habit, and now I just got quoted 11k to repair my pool. So I need to sell a bike, and the Scalpel is worth more. I actually prefer the Scalpel to the Habit, but I need more money than the Habit is worth. The Scalpel is the best climbing and pedaling bike I have ever ridden. It is fantastic, I cleared obstacles on it that I have never cleared before. I was also very impressed with how well it descends, because it can go downhill unlike old XC bikes. When I rode Auburn CA for the first time on it I set 56 out of 62 personal records. And I wasn't even trying to. This bike will make you faster. The only things I have changed are the brakes and tires. I put on Magura MT6 which are my brakes of choice, and the tires are Specialized Purgatory 2.2. The rest of the parts are: XL carbon frame, carbon lefty XLR, Cannondale carbon wheels, Cannondale Hollowgram cranks, Cannondale carbon bars, SRAM XO 11 speed drivetrain. The bike is in great shape, just needs a new home. $3250 obo. Bike is located in Sacramento CA
