True hardcore 26in wheels are for the real riders who like riding with no room for error and like to apply skill instead of big numb wheels rolling over everything. This thing climbs just well enough to get you to the drop-in point. Not an XC sled but it can hang if you're a good climber. As for downhill, well....need I say more. If you're looking at this ad then you know how awesome these forks are. Super strong yet subtle. Like my wife. The 2013s are the best years for these forks. The MYs after this was crap. These forks are amazing. They will definitely make you faster, hands down. They saved me many times from sudden death.
