All these salty slo-bros with their big squish bikes.
I live in an area with tons of trails and no elevation so we deal with what we've got by having a huge XC scene. Lately though with modern trail building techniques we've got a new trail with lots of flow jumps rock rolls and skinnies.
I ride with guys on big squish bikes(120-150mm), and clear everything they do while going a ton faster on all of the climbs with my XC Hardtail. I honestly don't see the advantage of the big bikes until the terrain gets super chunky and steep. However, for modern smoothed out machine cut flow an XC hardtail is likely faster, especially if the trial ever turns upward.

Industry Nine Enduro Wheelset
$425 USDFor sale is a set of I9 Enduro Wheels, the older standard (24mm internal) with the proprietary straight pull spokes. They have some scuffs from normal use, as well as a slight dent (still run true!!!!)
The rear wheel has had all bearings serviced and a new driver installed last year. They are absolutely bomb proof and if i didn't want a 29+ wheelset for my fat bike i would just keep them. Buy them or run them as they are, or have i9 replace the rims to the new standard for like $160 a wheel, boostinate them, throw on a SS driver, whatever you want. I9 makes an incredible product with lots of versatility and great support.
Willing to Trade for summer fat wheelset. Looking for 29+ SS Wheelset with 150/197 spacing or 27 fat wheelset.
