Review: 2025 Knolly Warden - Pushing the Limits of Long, Low, & Slack
I own the new Knolly Warden here and I LOVE it. I live in Squamish and ride steeper tech here and in the bike park, and I feel better about better about this bike every time I ride it.
Not sure I agree with the poor climbing review. I've passed many a Nomad and Bronson on the way up the hill, and it pedals so well, I often just ride it uphill to the trailhead.
Maybe not the best bike for Bellingham flow trails, but such a great trail for the Sea to Sky! After a lot of research and demoing bikes, I'm really happy with my Warden.

May 8, 2025Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt
$800 CADIt's a fun little bike—great for someone looking to get out on the trails without spending a fortune! It was barely ridden for years, but lately, I've been taking it out more. (I then realized I wanted to ride more, so I upgraded!)
More details here: https://resources.bikes.com/en/bikes/thunderbolt-alloy-30/2016
It is stock/original parts with updated tires (but they're worn, so you may want to treat yourself to a new pair at some point in the future). I might be able to find the original (unused) tires, but I not quite sure and want to make space in the garage, so posting it now. No dropper seat (but a quick release), and it has nice low standover - great for a short rider!
Located in central Squamish. Asking $800 OBO.

Why No Y?
I agree its a sport that is marketed to guys. look a the recent movie strength in numbers - if it was really supposed to be showing solidarity in mountain biking it did a shit job. it had more images of children riding than of women. women are out there riding, whether we're 10 or 30% of the sport. and lots of women shred hard. it was insulting to see more pics of kids on tricycles than women on bikes. the real icing on the cake was the woman in a bikini - not that i see anything wrong with a woman in a bikini - just that it really showed where the filmakers thought women belonged in the world of bikes. ...the quotes were all about men, the songs were all sung by men (well, except the one by a woman, saying she wanted to be some dude's girlfriend). seriously. i'm a young lady who lives to ride and i'd love to see a little more representation :)
