It was a UCI BMX race making the pro section mandatory there for if you wanted to stay in the race you had to jump it..that being said after casing the first set i tried to pull brakes as you can tell by the skid after the landing but then my hand fell off and I launched off the lip of the second one and the rest is pretty clear

Steve crashed in the rounds before and hurt his arm but still qualified so he rolled the gate.
