Oct 1, 2022S-Works Epic Hard Tail - Medium
$4750 USDSuper fast going up and down all day long.
I just had the bike professionally serviced at High Trails Cyclery in San Francisco and it has not been ridden since, so everything is crisp and snappy and clean and ready to shred for it's new owner.
Climbs as well as a gravel bike, but way more fun and confidence inspiring for ripping down the trails.
A few specs about the bike:
Chameleon greenish purple paint - photos do no justice to this paint job.
S-Works carbon bars
Shimano XT BR-M8120 4 piston disc drakes
Shimano XT M-8100 crankset - 36 teeth up front, 170mm cranks
Shimano XTR RD-M9100 REAR DERAILLEUR
SHIMANO DEORE XT CS-M8100 12-Speed MTB Cassette - (10-51 teeth)
Brand new XT 180mm rotors
Chris King bottom bracket
Brand new Crank Brothers Highline XC / Gravel Dropper Seatpost - 27.2 125mm Black
Fox Factory 32 Stepcast fork with remote lockout - Kashima!
Brand new Vittoria Mezcal III G2.0 Tire - 29 x 2.25 Tubeless Folding Black/Anthracite 120tpi in the back.
Vittoria Barzo up front.
Custom built Nox Composites Skyline 29 Carbon Fiber Mountain Wheels, dt240 hubs.
Two Arundel mandible bottle cages.
Selling bike without pedals, but could negotiate in some Shimano pedals.
Some details about the recent service the bike received at High Trails Cyclery in San Francisco:
Housing/Cable systems lubricated.
- Shifter internals lubricated.
-Front and rear brakes correctly adjusted: hydraulic (pistons reset, caliper aligned and rotors trued)
-Rear derailleurs adjusted correctly. Cable tension, trim, limit screws and derailleur positions all set correctly and pivot points lubricated. Rear derailleur hanger aligned properly parallel to rear wheel. Gears shifting correctly into all combinations.
-BB/cranks correctly installed to torque.
-Front and rear hubs correctly adjusted.
-Front and rear wheels trued.
-Headset correctly adjusted.
-All Bolts checked to torque.
-Tires inflated to 25 psi.
-Chain degreased/cleaned and lubricated.
-Frame/Wheels cleaned
Comments: Chris King BB service completed without issue. Front and rear brake fluid replaced and bled. New front and rear rotors installed without issue. New rear tire replaced and set up w/ 4 oz of Orange Seal. Front tire refreshed w/4 oz of Orange Seal.
There are some small nicks and chips on the paint of the frame and the rims of the wheels, which are consistant with normal wear and tear of a well loved and ridden bike.

Dec 2, 2021Parlee Altum/Enve 3.4s/Ultegra R8000
$2750 USD2016 Parlee Altum, size M – Ghost Black – carbon frame and fork - https://parleecycles.com/2016-altum/
Ultegra R8000 mechanical group - 11 speed. 50-34 crank (172.5) 11-30 cassette. Rim brakes.
Custom built Enve 3.4 wheels - DT240 hubs with 56-point ratchet upgrade.
Two Arundle Mandible bottle cages - super light and you will never loose a bidon.
Carbon bars, 3T 100mm stem, Zipp seatpost, new Fizik Arione saddle, new Ultegra chain.
I Just had the bike professionally overhauled, with components cleaned ultrasonically, and tuned up. Wheels were trued, re-taped and the Schwalbe One tires were topped off with fresh sealant.
Hubs, bottom bracket and headset were all cleaned, inspected and greased.
New front shifter cable and new Ultegra chain.
I have been the only owner of this bike, which I have ridden, loved and diligently maintained since I bought it when it came out.
It has seen some wear, including scruffs to the paint on the top tube and the bottom bracket area. To address this, I took the bike apart and sent it to Calfee, who inspected and x-rayed it, and then repainted the affected sections.
The bike is also pretty light, weighing in at 16.15 pounds without peddles, which I am selling the bike without. If you would like a pair of gently used Look Keo peddles, I can likely make that happen for a small price.
